At Rainforest of the North, we are a small, dedicated exotic bird breeding operation nestled in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Our passion for these magnificent creatures drives everything we do — from the moment eggs are laid to the day a bird goes home with you.

We specialise in hand-raising our birds from the earliest possible age, ensuring every chick is socialised with people, accustomed to household sounds, and emotionally ready to bond with their new family. We believe in quality over quantity — every bird receives the individual attention they deserve.

The Adoption Process

Bringing Your Bird Home

We've made the process simple and transparent so you can focus on preparing for your new feathered family member.

Reach Out

Contact us via Facebook or our contact form to express interest. We'll answer any questions about the bird's personality, diet, and care needs.

Reserve with Deposit

A 50% e-transfer deposit is required to hold your bird. This secures your spot and ensures the bird is reserved specifically for you.

Bird Prepares to Fly

We ensure your bird is fully weaned, health-checked, and ready for travel. We coordinate all shipping paperwork and logistics.

04

Pay Balance & Ship

Pay the remaining balance, and your bird is shipped via WestJet Cargo to your nearest major Canadian airport — or collected in person.

50% E-Transfer Deposit Required to Hold

Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another available bird. This protects both you and us, ensuring committed homes for every bird.
